Exporting purchase records from Kohl & Frisch

Run a detailed Narcotics purchase history report in Kohl & Frisch's online ordering, save it as CSV, and upload it to NarcCount.

Kohl & Frisch is moving customers from its classic Online Services site to the new K+F Connect portal. The steps below are for the classic site's Purchase History Report. On K+F Connect, run its purchase history report with the same choices: your dates, Narcotics, the detailed lines, and Excel.

Pick the dates first

Export from the day after your last count to the day of this count: NarcCount's reconciliation window, shown on the count's start screen. A line that matches one already on file (same DIN, date, quantity and invoice number) is skipped, so overlapping by a day does no harm.

In Kohl & Frisch

  • Sign in, open Account Management, then Purchase History Report.
  • Enter the From and To dates in the format the form shows.
  • Choose Narcotics as the category, and leave supplier and product type blank.
  • Choose Excel File and Detail, then Submit. If nothing happens, allow pop-ups for the K&F site and submit again.

Save it as CSV

NarcCount reads .xlsx and CSV directly. K&F's download can be an older Excel format, so open it in Excel and use File → Save As → CSV UTF-8 (on a Mac, Comma Separated Values), then upload the CSV.

In NarcCount

  • From the count, use step 2, Upload your purchase history. Or go to Upload File and choose Purchases.
  • Upload the CSV. NarcCount tells you every change it made to read the file, and asks first if a date could be read two ways.
  • Check that the Purchased column fills in, including a targeted drug such as a benzodiazepine.
